Rough Draft #1

"Yikes, oh my god what if I forget my lines or what if I get so nervous I can't speak". Those were the exact words that I told my teacher (that was also the director of the play) on the first day of off book rehearsal. The play was "Little Red Riding Hood" and I played Little Red. It wasn't a long play or a play that wqas preformed in a theater, it was just a regular school play. I had to preform it twice once in front of the grades kindergarden to second and the second one in front of grades three to five. I think the second preformance was more frightening because I had to do it in front of my friends, and enemys.

Now for my dress rehearsal. All dressed up as if I was going to preform in front of the students but we aren't about to just in front of the rest of our cast. I found out being on stage wasn't as scary as I thought, it was actually a real thrill.

Finally Preformance day the first preformance was at 9:30 in front of group one (k-2) and the second at 11:30 in front of group two (3-5). Now that I found out I shouldn't be nervous I wasn't even though all my teachers from my first half the time I was there and I didn't care and I was up for anything that could happen, good thing nothing did. I think I did very good but I hope I do better in my second preformance. Now I just have to get through my second one. And in this one I think I did so much better than I did before just because I new I could do it and that it was fun not scary.

My favorite part of this preformance was preforming it even though at first i was doubting myself then I ended up having a lot of fun.
